A groovy new saying! She’s Sassy, Classy, and a Little Bad-Assey . . . for girls who know who they are and they like it that way.

So, I was on twitter yesterday, twittering my little heart out, when I see a twitter person named Jackie Guerra. So I say to myself, “Self” I say, “I know that name from a long time ago.” And I was right – many years ago I used to watch a DIY channel show about making jewelry, and the hostess was a young woman named Jackie Guerra. I always loved the way she rolled her ‘r’s when she said her name: “Guerrrrrra.” She was proud to be Latina. Also, she was quite a bit overweight, which of course is so unusual in a tv hostess. But I thought she was a cool chick – I knew she had something going on to be so overweight, but she wasn’t letting it stop her. Someone to admire, you know?

So, naturally I click on her website to see what she’s been up to these past few years, and voila! She’s lost 170 POUNDS! And she looks gorgeous! And she’s happy! And she says, “I like women who are sassy, classy and a little bad-assey” and I LOVE HER for that!
