I’m Allison Strine, author and illustrator.  I started drawing in 2005, and was immediately hooked. Over the next few years I developed a successful brand, selling more than 10,000 pieces online and in retail stores.

After creative rest, I picked up the paintbrush, and enrolled as a graduate student at Savannah College of Art and Design. With a goal of communicating love and joy with each stroke, I’m thrilled to be drawing and painting again. I pour my highest self into every piece, and sign with “Love, Allison Strine.”

I am enthusiastic about creating color-filled images and quirky hand lettering for children’s books and products. My art is inspired by bright minds in history, the miracles of nature, and unusual, educational tidbits of information.

FUN FACTS ABOUT ME:

My favorite place in the whole world is the southernmost post office in the world, Port Lockroy in Antarctica.

I grew up in a 270 year old farmhouse north of Boston, Massachusetts. Although I’ve lived in Atlanta for 25 years, I’m still a Bostonian at heart.

An avid traveler, I climbed to the Tiger’s Nest monastery in Bhutan.

When we named our children Ethen and Olivia, my husband and I thought thought we were the most original namers ever.
