Norcross…
Here are some pictures from the Norcross Art Fest… I usually do just one or two shows a year, so definitely do not have the whole booth presentation down to a science… The coolest part was seeing some shoppers from shows past – just like when I go to an art show I seek out artists whose work I’ve seen and loved in the past… that’s so cool!
Speaking of artists, the Norcross show had some really original and creative artwork. I could have spent thousands of moneys if I had em. Check out Cindy Wunsch – her work is shiny! And groovy! And I want a big one!
Another whose work captured my imagination (and a little piece of my wallet) is Jenni Horne. Her originals have a really cool texture and vibe to them that you just can’t see online. Love!
The girl in the booth next to me had the most playful and loving aura (and I’m not an ‘aura’ kind of person). Her name is Emmy and although I’m sure she isn’t really a child, her sweetness and youthful enthusiasm for life got to me. SO fun to see her do so well! She and I traded at the end of the show – our work is really different, and it made me giddy to think she wanted one of my birdies! I got a picture of a mom, daughter and koala bear. It’s up in my studio – LOVE!
My friend Jenny Friedman exhibited at Norcross too. Her work is so vibrant and colorful – I wanted to see more and more of her imagery! It takes such courage to put your work out there for the public to see – this was only Jenny’s second show, and it was great to see her booth filled with people wandering in and out all weekend – she’s building a clientele!
Gawd, art is wonderful, ain’t it?

Hi Allison! I spoke with Frances Schube tonight and she told me that you mentioned me in your blog about Norcross…WOW, I am so honored that I made your blog! Thanks for your advice before, during and after the show — it was priceless! Oh, and my team-mates absolutely loved their magnets, which as I told you, capture each one of them perfectly.
